Costa is to give away free coffee at 8,500 locations across the UK for a whole day.

The national coffee chain has announced that on Tuesday, October 1 coffee will be handed out free from its Express machines for 24 hours.

The offer will run across the UK, excluding Northern Ireland, and you'll be able to take your pick from anything on the Express machine's menu,including Americano, Latte, Espresso and Cappuccino, and hot chocolate, reports The Mirror .
